Ugh!! I'm going to be a grandma. I'm too young to be someone's nana. Why me? Why now? I knew this day was coming but some how it arrived earlier than I expected. I got the call this morning around 7:30 that Emma was in labor. Emma is my son Ben's girlfriend. As I was writing this, my son called to tell me she had to have a c-section and that Ellie was now here. She weighs 8 pounds 14 ounces and is 20 inches long.
Imagine me, someone's nana. I'm going to crawl back in bed and cry... but not until after I get to see the little lovebug.

It took me a while to get used to be a nana! But I discovered that it doesn't make me older than I feel or see myself! Congrats with the new member of the family!
How wonderful !!!
When I became a grandma over 12 years ago, it was daunting and people said I looked too young, which was so nice. Now we have 9 grandkids and I still feel young, but look it ? Not so much !
I was a little stunned when I became a grandmother while still in my 40's, but I got used to it quickly!!
What a beautiful little baby. Great happiness that baby and mommy are both doing well. What are you going to be called? There ae so many names now a days for Grandparents it is always fun to see what each one decides on for their name.
Congrats! I made my parents into grandparents waaaay before their time too. 18 years later none of us would change a thing!
That little baby will just worm her way into your heart until you are happy to be called "Nana" or any other sweet name she gives you!
What a cutie, congrats!
Oh wow... Being a Nana is an Unbelievable experience...
You will have a blast once you get Used to the adjustment...
