Well, it's been a long time since I posted here. I don't even remember what my last post was about. My life is pretty dull and my days can usually be summed up in one Face Book post so writing a blog has taken to the back burner.
I have decided to start walking again to lose weight. I started on Monday. There is this web page MapMyWalk that I find pretty useful. You can draw out your route and it will tell you how many miles you have walked. I'm not sure how many miles a day I need to walk to lose weight but something is better than nothing. When my youngest starts school in the fall, I hope to do more walking.
This past month I have been getting really dizzy when laying down and waking up. One time, I bent over in my chair to pick something off the floor and I fell out of it! I know right? So after the first week, I decided to go see my doctor. She said I had fluid on my ears and I should take Clairitin and Benadryl to clear it up and the dizziness should go away. After a week of taking this medicine, I wasn't seeing any improvement and went to the walk in clinic. There the doctor diagnosed me with Positional Vertigo. He said it should go away on its own but if I didn't see any improvement, physical therapy could be an option. They have a pill for everything. Why not for this? I used to love sleeping and now I have grown to hate it. Every time I lay down, I get really dizzy or the room starts to spin. Staying up isn't an option either because if I stay in one place for too long, I get dizzy as well. It really sucks. I know I should be grateful that it isn't something more serious but I'm not sure how long I can go on like this. I also get really nauseous as well.
So, what's new in your life? Ebay has been extremely slow and I almost feel like throwing in the towel and getting a job. Maybe when the youngest starts preschool, I can volunteer at the thrift store. The volunteers can get first dibs at the stuff that comes in.

Back In The Groove
So it's been awhile since my last post. Almost 9 months I believe. I think my last post had to do with me starting an exercise program. Well, that didn't last very long. It seemed like I never had the time or the motivation to keep up with it. New year, New me. I started exercising again once my weight sky rocketed to 196 pounds. At 5'6, this is way too much weight. My knees started giving me problems. I was always tired and always hungry. This time, I am going to keep motivated. But I am not going to weigh myself. I think the reason I gave up last time was because I wasn't losing pounds as fast as I wanted to. And you know what? It's going to take time to lose all that weight. I didn't gain it over a course of weeks, so I can't expect to lose it in that time.
In edition to my exercise routine, I have started to do the plank challenge. Wish me luck.
