I am a night owl. I find it difficult to fall asleep before 11 p.m. Don't even try to talk to me before 9 a.m. unless you want your head chewed off. Unfortunately, everyone that lives with me is a rooster, up at the crack of dawn. It is very hard to live with roosters. They are so noisy! Doors slamming, silverware banging, feet stomping. What is wrong with these people? Even on weekends, they are up before the sun. And they are always in a good mood. What is a night owl to do?
Excuse me while I take a nap...

My mom was/is the same way. When I was in High School, I was responsible for getting my little brother and myself ready for school and out the door. I just thought it was because we drove her crazy and wore her out. But, more than 30 years later it is still best not to talk to her unless she's had at least 3 sips of her morning coffee.
Hi! I live with a bunch of roosters too. At least my roosters are quiet. Strange.
I'm a night owl too, but I've learned to turn to my side and ignore the noise:):) Take care!
Cute post, sorry about all your roosters!! :=)
I'm a night owl, too. So I hear ya!
I'm a little of both. Never really required alot of sleep. Go to bed between 11:30 and midnight 9sometimes later), up at 7. Once in a blue moon I have a night that I sit down and can hardly keep my eyes open. I know it's hard for a nightie when the roosers are crowing. Cute post! Thanks for popping over to visit me.
Great ‘Z’ post! I'm a night owl too!
Have a great weekend too & look forward to *seeing* you again next time,
XOXO Lola:)
Wait until you get to be MY age! I can't sleep at night and I wake up at o'dark thirty every morning. I catch my ZZZZZZ's whenever I can!!
Hello.
I do like to stay up late sometimes, but because I'm an early riser (4-4:30am), I tend to listen to my body & try to be in bed by 10pm. I have been known to get up in the early hours of dawn when most normal people are in deep sleep just to scribble down some thought (like we poets often do), much to the disgust of my wife! (lol)
A fun post indeed!
Thanks for sharing.

I used to be a night person, but at some point, I became a morning person.
I am most definitely a rooster. I think the latest I've stayed up over the past dozen years was quite possibly 9:30 pm!
This was a cute post!
I liked your writing here.
Z you again soon!
A+
