Taking Down Christmas

I usually try to keep my Christmas tree up until after the Epiphany (Jan 6) but Ryker kept undecorating it and knocking the star off. Before all my decorations were broken, I decided today was the day to take it down.

It certainly was a challenge doing this by myself. I stored it in the basement but unfortunately the ceiling is too low, so instead of keeping it upright, I had to put it on its side. I hope it does not damage it. I am certainly going to miss it. I did leave up my ceramic Christmas tree and will pack that away this weekend.
