If I die young, bury me in satin
Lay me down on a bed of roses
Sink me in the river at dawn
Send me away with the words of a love song
This is the first verse of a song by The Band Perry. It was released as their second single in June 2010. It is about making the most of whatever time you're given: whether it is two years, twenty years or two hundred years. It describes the writer as being content with the life she has lived and if she were to die young, she would have no regrets. She is not afraid of death as she knows she has lived a good life.
If you haven't heard this song yet, you can play it here.

If my first comment sounded a little generic, it was because I just got around to listening to the song! Sometimes I get in such a hurry, I pass myself in the road. I love the song and bought it straightaway.
